Luke Bailey |
Luke
has been with Hobart Institute since October 2000. He conducts
training in all arc welding processes at the Institute as well
as in corporate locations. Luke is the primary Hobart Institute
instructor at EWI in Columbus, Ohio. |

Bob Fisher |
Campus Security Officer and Welding Instructor
Bob serves as campus security officer and welding instructor.
He joined Hobart Institute in 2002 and was with Hobart Brothers
Company for 23 years prior to that. He is qualified to teach
all the arc welding processes and enforces policies and security
of the facility. |

Higgins |
Attended HIWT and worked for a
number of years before teaching. He has been with the Hobart Institute for 20 years,
teaching primarily in Troy. Mike is qualified to teach all of the arc welding processes. |

Jenkins |
Joined
Hobart Institute as a skill instructor in 1999. Ralph worked
in industry before becoming an instructor. He teaches
primarily in the Troy, Ohio facility. |

Jones |
AWS-CWI, spends much of his time
conducting training in various corporate facilities. He has been with the Hobart Institute
for over 20 years and is qualified to teach all the arc welding processes. |

Moore |
Has been with the Hobart
Institute for over 25 years, having attended HIWT and worked in industry prior to that. He
is qualified to teach all the arc welding processes and has taken an active part in
updating training materials. |

Morris |
Attended Wright State University
and worked for a number of years before teaching at the Hobart Institute. He has been on
staff here for over 20 years and is qualified to teach all the arc welding processes, both
in Troy and at corporate facilities. |

Bryce Obaugh |
Joined
the instructor staff at Hobart Institute in 2005 following three
years of experience in the welding industry. Bryce holds a
degree in Welding Technology from Edison Community College and
completed the Combination Structural and Pipe Welding Program at
Hobart Institute. Bryce will be teaching various welding
processes.

Kris Rahall |
A graduate of the Combination Structural
and Pipe Welding Program at Hobart Institute of
Welding Technology, John (Kris) Rahall joined the skill welding
instructor staff in 2007. Prior to that, Kris completed the
welding program at Mercer County Vocational Education Center in
West Virginia and served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps,
honorably discharged as a Sergeant. Kris has industrial
welding experience and is currently teaching gas metal arc
welding classes. |

Randles |
Began his welding career at
Hobart Brothers Company, then taught at HIWT until 1983 when he went back into industry.
He once again returned to HIWT in 1998 and
currently
teaches most of the skill courses in the Troy facility. |

| Kevin
Scott |
Began
teaching at the Hobart Institute in 1989 after spending a few
years welding in industry. Kevin teaches all arc welding
processes and is usually in the Troy facility. |

| Jim
Starry |
Spends most of his time in the
Troy facility. Jim attended HIWT and worked in industry before becoming an instructor at
HIWT over 20 years ago. Jim is qualified to teach all welding courses including Pipe
Layout. |

Richard Smith |
Richard joined
the Hobart Institute staff in 2007 as a skill instructor. He
previously completed the Institute’s
Combination Structural and Pipe
Welding Program and has previous military
experience. |

Wolff |
Attended Central Technical
Community College in Hastings, Nebraska, and has been involved with welding from
production to self-employment.
He has over 15
years of experience as a welding instructor at the Hobart
Institute, is qualified to teach all arc welding processes, and
primarily provides in-plant training. |
